Gasket plate Heat Exchanger has a high heat transfer rate compared to other types of heat exchangers due to their large surface area. They are composed of a number of thin metal plates compressed together into a ‘plate pack’ by two pressure plates. Within a plate heat exchanger, the fluid paths alternate between plates allowing the two fluids to interact, but not mix, several times in a small area. Each plate is corrugated to increase the surface area and maximize heat transfer.

Classification of Plate Heat Exchanger
1. according to the plate material: it can be divided into SUS304, SUS316, and titanium plate
2. according to the pads materials: it can be divided into butadiene acrylonitrile rubber (NBR), EPDM, fluorine rubber (TP)
3. according to the piece area, there are 0.15㎡, 0.24 ㎡, 0.65 ㎡, 0.85 ㎡, 1.54 ㎡ and 1.8 ㎡
4. according to the stent material,there are iron stents and stainless steel support
Usages of Gasket Plate Heat Exchanger
Gasket plate Heat Exchanger is widely used in metallurgy, mine, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, medicine, food, chemical fiber, paper making, textile, ship, heating and other departments, can be used for heating, cooling, evaporation, condensation, sterilization and waste heat recovery.

2. easy clean and convenient disassembling: plate heat exchanger fixes the plates by clamping bolts, thus making disassembling convenient, can open to clean any time. The bright board face makes high turbulent degree, so it is not easy to scale.
3. long service life: plate heat exchanger uses stainless steel or titanium alloy plate for repression, can resistant to all kinds of corrosive medium. The pads can change at will, and convenient in maintenance.
4. not string of liquid, the seal groove of plate heat exchanger is setted with discharge liquid way, each media will not in collusion, even the appearance of leak, the media always exudes.
