Plate Heat Exchanger BR0.12

Plate heat exchanger has a high heat transfer rate compared to other types of heat exchangers due to their large surface area. They are composed of a number of thin metal plates compressed together into a ‘plate pack’ by two pressure plates. Within a plate heat exchanger, the fluid paths alternate between plates allowing the two fluids to interact, but not mix, several times in a small area. Each plate is corrugated to increase the surface area and maximize heat transfer.

Classification of Plate Heat Exchanger

1. according to the plate material: it can be divided into SUS304, SUS316, and titanium plate

2. according to the pads materials: it can be divided into butadiene acrylonitrile rubber (NBR), EPDM, fluorine rubber (TP)

3. according to the stent material，there are iron stents and stainless steel support

Usages of Plate Heat Exchanger

Cooling and heating of fluids with particle content (without fibres) up to a particle size of 2 mm. Condensation of vapours, gas cooling and gas dehumidifying.

1、The plates are combined to form individual plate packages. With this construction it is easy to expand the system. Within each plate package the heat exchanger plates support each other at the metal-on-metal profile cross points, which ensure the stable behaviour of the plate gap.
2、Many different plate types permit an optimum economical solution for nearly any application. A range of materials are available from 1.4301 / AISI 304 to alloys, nickel, tantalum and titanium.
3、Low investment and maintenance costs ensure a high level of economy.
