Classification of Centrifugal Pump
1. according to structure, it can be divided into three-foot pump and four-foot pump
2. according to material, there are SUS304 and SUS316L
3. according to motor species, it can be divided into ordinary motor, ABB motor and explosion-proof motor.
Usages of Centrifugal Pump
This product is widely used in the food and beverage, dairy products, medical, beer brewing, water supply, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biological engineering, medicine and fine chemical industry project, is the ideal accessories of construction.
Characteristics of Centrifugal Pump
The basic structure of the centrifugal pump has six parts, respectively: impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring and stuffing box.
1, impeller is the core part of centrifugal pump, it has advantages of high speed and big output force. The impeller blade owns a leading role, before assembly, the impeller need to through the static balance experiments. The internal and external surfaces of impeller should keep smooth, in order to reduce the friction loss of flow.
2, the pump body also called pump shell, is the main body of the pump. It plays a supporting fixed effect, and connects with the bracket of installation bearing.
3, the effect of pump shaft is using coupling to connect with motor, making the motor torque to transfer to impeller, so it is a major part of the mechanical energy transfer.
4, bearing is the component to support the pump shaft, have the rolling bearing and sliding bearing two kinds. The rolling bearing uses butter as lubricant. And the amount should be appropriate, for generally, two-thirds to three-quarters of volume, too much will fever, too little will make a noise and fever.
Sliding bearings uses transparent oil as lubricant; the oil should full to oil line. Too much will leak, too little the bearing maybe burn out and cause an accident. The highest temperature in the water pump operation process is up to 85 ℃, generally run in about 60 ℃, too much higher need to find out reasons (whether impurity, whether oil were black, whether water influx) and deal with immediately.
5, sealing ring also called minus leaking ring. The big gaps between the impeller and the impeller shell will cause water in high-pressure zone flow to low-pressure area, thus influencing water flow of pump, and lowering the efficiency. On the other hand, a too small gap between impeller and pump shell causes friction. In order to increase the backflow resistance to reduce leakage and prolong the service life of impeller and pump shell, there is a sealing ring around the inner pump shell and outer impeller. The seal clearance keep in 0.25 ~ 1.10 mm is advisable.
6, stuffing box mainly composed by packing, the water seal ring, stuffing tube, packing gland and water pipe. The role of the stuffing box is mainly to close the gap between the pump shell and the pump shaft, not only cutting the inner water flows outside but also cutting the outside air into the pump. Thus keep the pump a vacuum state. When the pump shaft friction with packing heat will generate, so water need to inject into water seal ring to cool down the material. Maintain the normal operation of the pump. So it should pay more attention to the check of stuffing box in the operation. It should replace the material in the point about 600 hours.
7, axial force balance device: in the centrifugal pump operation process, because the liquid into the impeller is under low pressure and flow out under high pressure, making different pressure on both sides of impeller and producing axial thrust to the entrance of the direction, can cause the rotor shaft, develop blemishes and vibration, so it shall set up axial thrust bearing to balance the axial force.
